Recently renovated to a superior 4-star standard, using only original Yorkshire stone to retain its historic charm, it provides 14 bedrooms, each with the luxurious comforts one would expect from a modern hotel.

In the evenings you can relax in the hotel’s comfortable common areas, including The Mayfield Restaurant and Walkers Bar, which boast a stylish range of locally sourced Yorkshire dishes to suit every taste.

The Inn is just a few minutes walk from the City Centres bars, nightclubs, theatres and restaurants. Just a 5 mins taxi ride from the main train and bus stations and just a few minutes walk from the tram and bus service, it makes any area of Sheffield accessable. The bar is open as follows: Mon-Wed 7am-8pm, Thurs 7am - 12, Fri 7am - 1.30am, Sat 5pm - 1.30am, Sunday closed though rooms still available. Breakfast is available Mon-Fri. The Crown is £4.50 and The Half a Crown is £3.50. Both include a teacoffejuice.The Bed and Breakfast has 8 modern rooms (one en-suite) with tea and coffee making facilities. Two new bathrooms have been installed. The pub dates back to 1787 and is the last of 15 pubs which once lined this historic street.

All of the rooms are individual with a variety of teas, coffee, writing paper and toiletries. Famous for our breakfasts and supper menus, which are served in the Breakfast room. We are fully licensed and offer free wi fi connection. Our motto is 'feel at home when staying away'.
